OpenID Foundation Workshop

IETF 121
- Date: November 3-8, 2024
- Location: Dublin, Ireland
- Why Attend: The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) plays a critical role in the development of internet standards, including those related to identity and access management. At IETF 121, key working groups like OAuth, SPICE, and WIMSE will meet and discuss new drafts, with a focus on both human and non-human identity management. This is a valuable opportunity to engage with the technical community and contribute to the evolution of these vital standards.
- In Focus: I will be presenting an update on Transaction Tokens in the OAuth working group, and a new draft titled “Pushpull Transport for SETs” in the general Security Area Open Meeting. I’m also closely following the ID and Authorization Chaining draft.
